Waterlily's Mee Rebus

Mee Rebus paling simple. If I can do it, so can you.

Bahan Bahan.
1/2 kg - 1 kg mee kuning - di selur.

2 - 3 biji keledek (depends on size)

4 ulas Bawang merah - di tumbuk

3 ulas bawang putih - di tumbuk

I tangkai serai - di ketuk

Rempah tumis
Udang Kering (di tumbuk atau blend)
Kari daging (I used kari daging Baba's)
Santan


Bahan Tabur (garnishing)


Udang - di rebus dan buang kulit

Daun Sup & Daun Bawang - di hiris halus

Cili merah - di hiris nipis

Limau Kasturi - di belah dua

Taugeh - di selur

Telur ayam - di rebus dan di belah dua

Tahu - di goreng dan dihiris nipis.
Daging - di rebus
Bawang goreng.







Cara membuat kuah (gravy):

1. Keledek dibuang kulit dan di rebus - setelah empuk, blend kan.

2. Tumis bawang merah, bawang putih, serai, rempah ratus sehingga naik bau.

3. Masukkan udang kering yang sudah di blend, biar sebentar sehingga masak. Masukkan serbuk kari yang dicampur sedikit air, tumis sehingga keluar minyak.

4. Masukkan keledek yang telah di blend dan tumis lagi. Setelah agak pekat masukkan air rebusan daging. Biar sehingga mendidih.

5. Masukkan santan, biar mendidih lagi tapi jangan pecah minyak. Tabur garam secukup rasa.

6. Note : Banyak nya air rebusan daging terpulang kepada selera masing masing, samada hendak kuah yang cair atau tidak. But for us family, we prefer it thick.

I never used spaghetti so I cannot tell. Err...kalau you try, let me know ok!

I bought a small "noodle machine'. I have the recipe with me but I have to try it out first. If it turns out okay, I will share the recipe how to make Yellow Mee (mee kuning) here.

So watch this space!

memang sedap..! Some recipes guna banyak bahan, ada tu letak kacang tanah lagi...but rasa maybe tak sama kut...maybe macam rasa kuah sate la pulak.

This one is quite easy to make. Nak sepiring? Boleh...semangkuk besar pun boleh. Meh sini..

Here in Bangalore,it's difficult to get our mee basah so i always use spaghetti for any mee-based dish. so MTT, u can use spaghetti.it turns out exactly like if u r using Malaysian mee.

I shall try using spaghetti one of these days, especially in Abu Dhabi where it could be quite difficult to find this Yellow Noodle.

So MTT - should be no problemo for you eh?

kira simple la tu...i seriously think your laksa asam laaaagii complicated! Yang itu pun I kibar bendera putih without the jalur...size besar macam bendera perang China zaman dolu dolu....

OO mee rebus is my favorite. I brought sebungkur rempah mee rebus muar, tapi rasa tak sama. I will try this recipe - I like that you posted gambar-gambar bahan, lagi mudah. Thanks.

thanks for dropping by. Mee Rebus is a favourite of many, cuma rasa lain lain. I love Mee Rebus johor the most, they put keropok lagi kat situ.

Anyway, kalau masak mee rebus nanti, lemme know how it turns out ya!
